Legendary characters from TV shows were ranked by how bad they would be at dealing with a pandemic.
In the beginning, we talked about who would be best able to handle the pandemic:
1, Janet from A Good Place
The world we live in now is crazy and awful, but Janet is a person or computer. She would be fine in this crazy world. In A Good Place, Janet even says that when she thinks about memories, she lives in them. She thinks about everything at once. She would be fine.
2, Nick Miller from New Girl
Four months would pass before Nick realized there was a virus in the world. He didn’t leave home at that time. He’d be known as the “Quarantine King.” He’d eat all the time, write 200 books, and bring a lawn chair into the shower just to have a new place to sit. The way he would be good at quarantining could get so good that it would spread to the way he was.
3, Dwight Schrute from The Office
You know that Dwight has been preparing for this for the whole time he has been alive. There is a huge bunker at Schrute Farms that looks just like the city in the book. People live there under the ground (The City of Ember, thank you, Google). He would be more intense than is ideal in quarantine, but Dwight would get the job done.
4, Captain Raymond Holt from Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Getting sick in the pandemic would take a long time for Holt to lose his job. Well into the future, he would be normal and unaffected. The only thing that would bother him and make his daily life more difficult was how worried he was about other people and how it would make his life more difficult. Kevin would then tell Holt about the Omicron variant. Holt would stand up from the table and say, “Excuse me,” put on a winter coat, go outside, and walk from Brooklyn to Northern Maine without stopping or changing his expression. But, fair enough.
5, Phoebe Buffay from Friends
To quote Charlie from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Phoebe is a wild card, but she isn’t always right. The truth is, she isn’t, but when Friends need someone to play that role, they often use her. A lot of things would happen. Phoebe would break and not do the safest thing, but she would crush it.
6, Jason Mendoza from A Good Place
Putting Jason in quarantine would not be a problem for him. But he would forget about all of the rules. He’d say, “What’s this? Is it a mask?” As a fan of the Cameron Diaz movie,
7, Cece from New Girl
Even though Cece is a well-known slob and would miss the outside world, because she is a person and we all miss the outside world how it was, she would get over it. Cece didn’t notice for weeks and weeks.
8, Joey Tribbiani from Friends
Joey would be sad all the time. He would stay in his chair and read. I’m telling the truth. During a pandemic, if Joey became very interested in books, this would be a great storyline for him to have. Imagine that Joey is quoting Tolstoy and pronounces “Anna Karen-Nina” as “Anna Karen-Nina.”
9, Chandler Bing from Friends
Chandler would hate the first few months of COVID world a lot. Afterward, he’d talk to himself all the time, and he’d be great.
10, Coach from New Girl
Even if the COVID-19 pandemic were real, Coach would be able to stay calm as long as it was theoretically possible. After that date, all bets are off.
11, Eleanor Shellstrop from A Good Place
There is a line between “I love being alone in my sweatpants forever” and “I need to go to a restaurant right now.” Eleanor would walk that line. As a compromise, Eleanor would give herself bangs with a compact mirror in the parking lot of an Arby’s. All in all, Eleanor would be just as Eleanor-y after years of being locked up as before.
12, Rachel Green from Friends
Even though Rachel would naturally have a hard time quarantining herself and everything, she’d figure out how to make it work for her. Every day, she’s selfish enough to take some time for herself.
13, Jess Day from New Girl
Jess would be a great mix of hopeful and logical. She would make a lot of songs that were just right for handwashing. But as a teacher, she’d only be able to get through each day. Jess would print out the Zoom logo and set it on fire every night to keep it warm.
14, Carlton Banks from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
When we say that Carlton would do his best to be cool, we’re not being honest. As it turns out, this isn’t that bad.
15, Monica Geller from Friends
I think “Monica Clean” would go to a whole new, scary, level. The only thing she would do was clean. It would be cleaned six times. A hose would be used every time Chandler came into the apartment, and it would wash him down On the safety side, Monica would be able to handle the pandemic well. But on the inside, she might not be able to deal with it well. She would be in a storm.
16, Tahani Al-Jamil from The Good Place
Super rich Tahani. Sarah Snook, who made the show Succession, said that “[N]one of the world’s really rich people were going to be affected by the pandemic.” Then, that doesn’t mean that Tahani would be good at dealing with the pandemic. It means the other way around. When she left her house, she would also be angry with the world (s).
